This feature will block vpn, proxy, tor, relay, and any visitor who hits the fraud intelligence scoring and thus has been  flagged as bad ip or has historically bad reputation ip.

Proxies, Tor and VPNs can be used by malicious visitors to hide their identity and carry out nefarious activities online. In fact, these tools are in almost all cases used by cyber-criminals to cover their tracks and avoid detection.

A cyber-criminal might use a proxy server to hide their IP address and location when carrying out a phishing attack or distributing malware. They might use a VPN to encrypt their traffic and avoid detection when carrying out a hacking operation or stealing sensitive data.
With hundreds million ips we track, they can’t hide to the Firewall. This ensure:

  • You can deter adversaries from causing trouble in services or applications.
  • You can help combat spam and prevent fraud.
  • All automatic malicious website attacks are stopped.
  • Hacker must reveal his idendity to attack you. Who does it?
  • It will strengthen and accelerate your KYC (know your customer) process.

It can also contribute to minimizing chargebacks for an ecommerce website. By preventing potentially fraudulent activities and enhancing security measures, it helps create a more secure environment for online transactions. This can reduce the risk of unauthorized transactions, fraudulent purchases, and other activities that may lead to chargebacks.

For users who rely on VPNs for privacy or enhanced security measures, the Firewall provides a flexible solution. Instead of outright denial, consider activating our efficient CAPTCHA challenge for human visitors. This way, legitimate users can seamlessly prove their identity while enjoying the enhanced protection provided by the Firewall. We believe in striking a balance between security and user experience, and CAPTCHA challenges are an effective tool for achieving this harmony.
