Joomla Firewall Installation

This plugin is designed for beginners who cannot upload a file to their website via FTP or a file manager (panel). It will upload the firewall installer to the root directory of your website, making it easy to start the firewall installation.

Download the Joomla firewall plugin to your computer or mobile.  Access the administration area of your Joomla website by logging in with your administrator credentials.

  • Go to "Extensions" → "Manage" → "Install" in the top menu of your Joomla admin panel.
  • Click the "Upload Package File" tab.
  • Click the "Browse" or "Choose File" button and select the plugin ZIP file from your computer.
  • Click "Upload & Install" to start the installation process.
  • The installation process will extract and install the plugin files on your Joomla website.

After the installation is complete, you'll see a notification message indicating a successful installation. By default, the plugin is automatically activated upon installation. If not, go to "Extensions" → "Plugins" or the relevant section based on the plugin type.

  • Locate the plugin in the list of installed plugins. 
  • Click the checkbox next to the plugin's name to select it.
  • Click the "Enable" button in the toolbar at the top to activate the plugin.


  • On the Website Firewall plugin page, then click on the blue button "Go to Installer"
