Prestashop Firewall Module installation

Prestashop    v1.7.8     v8.0   and higher

This installation process assumes you have an active order and have received a license token, either via email or on the ordered product page in your client area. We may have also provided a web address, along with login credentials, to access the firewall dashboard where you can manage its features. 


IMPORTANT: After installing the plugin, you must activate the firewall from the dashboard using the 1-click setup button in the settings section.

Once your download the Prestashop firewall plugin zip file to your computer or mobile then access the administration area of your PrestaShop website by logging in with your administrator credentials.

  • Go to "Modules" → "Module Manager" in the top menu of your PrestaShop admin panel.
  • Click on the "Upload a module" button.
  • Click on the "Select file" button and choose the plugin ZIP file from your computer.
  • Click the "Upload this module" button to start the installation process.
  • After the installation is complete, you'll see a notification message indicating a successful installation. The plugin will be listed among the installed modules.
  • Locate the plugin in the list of installed modules.
  • Click the "Enable" button next to the plugin's name to activate it.
  • Click the "Configure" button next to the plugin's name.
  • Fill your Firewall license token, then click the "Save" button.


Depending on the configuration of your firewall from the dashboard and from the Prestashop addon, you should visit a front-office page or a NEW back-office page to simulate access to your site. Visit your dashboard iptables and check if the plugin has added your ip to the records.
